Thanksgiving Pictures

James, Brittany, Braeden, and Alexis

Jay...big bad man....NOT!

This was just the few people that hadn't left yet.
I think this was only about half the people that were actually there for dinner.

Becca's Week at Camp

Becca had a great time at camp. She went to a Girl Scout Camp for a week.
This picture is inside of her tent.
Here is where she slept for a week.
She went hiking in the mountains a couple of times.
This was the view.
A cute little chipmunk.
Becca and her camp counselor.

LADYBUGS!!! Kevin P would have loved this for his bug collection photos!
Becca went canoeing!
She also had a swim test.
The area closest to the bottom of the picture is where she had a Polar Bear Dip.
They jump in and run out because the water is cold!

Her camp is by the lake in the middle of the picture.
Little B by the lake.

Cutey! I love her new haircut!

Camping in the Mountains

We had a great time on our first camping trip.
Becca created a very cute fire that burned great.
She really loved playing with fire...just like her mom! We went on a fun hike.

This is Becca's idea of camping.

The camper is nice and roomy for all of us.

Our cute camper. It can hold 2 four wheelers whenever we get them.
The front, back, and sides flip out for beds.

Bored

I officially have NOTHING to do! I just finished my last assignment for my Master's class, I sent off my 25 page report to Japan yesterday, and Becca went to Florida for two weeks! I am out of school for 2 weeks! I have already bought paint to paint the last room that is white in the house. That will be a fun project.

The weather is great here, it is around 75 degrees. I might replant our garden since all our plants died when we had a surprise snow.

I am not a good stay at home person!

Becca's 9th Birthday

Becca had her 9th birthday last weekend. She had a little party with her friends over. We were going to have the entire party outside but it decided to snow!
They had a donut eating contest in the garage.
Boy! She has a big mouth!
They had a little craft. That is Brayden, Becca's cousin, the only boy invited to the party.

The kids loved the foosball and air hockey in the basement.
Imagine 8 girls screaming! It was loud!

She is so cool. She danced and sang for herself for days!

The best $60 I ever spent

I found a GREAT game for the Wii. It is called Outdoor Adventure. It comes with the mat the kids are standing on and has over 10 games for them to play. There is skateboarding, kayaking, rollerskating, jump roping, Wak-a-mole, and TONS more. They love it! It was only $60 at Walmart! I think it is a bargain for the amount of time they play it. Becca sweats everytime she plays it. You can have one or two players or you can have two playing together as a team. FUN! FUN!

The Basement is FINISHED!!!

This is Korey and Kurtis's room. We went with a snowboarding theme. We are going to have Kevin P make up stickers with special names for the different ski runs.
This is Korey's headboard.

This is Kurtis's headboard.

Kevin and Kurtis designed and painted the snowboards.

They finally have their own bathroom!

This is Andrew's room. He loves skateboarding.

The poster are pictures of Andrew, we printed in black and white.

Boys and their toys

It takes so little to make him happy.....

He is jackhammering the basement floor to move a pipe for the downstairs bathroom.
Kevin plans to have the bathroom done in about 2 weeks, tile floor and everything.

Key West FUN!

Kendrick, 15 years old, 6 foot 6 inches, size 16 shoe! OMG!

We went to Key West for a long weekend when we were in Florida.

Kim and Domineco joined us and we had a GREAT time.

These were the pictures we could share.....

If you live in Florida and I didn't see you, I am sorry. We were only there for 11 days. We went to Key West for the weekend and we went to see Kevin P for a long weekend. I wanted to come by and see everyone at Skyline but our only "free" day in Cape Coral was the day of the Florida Writes test and I know how stressful that day is (well actually I am kind of forgetting since we don't give that test in Utah until 6th grade!).
Graduate school is going good. It is quite a bit of work, since I haven't went to school in quite a few years. (Wow, I feel old) But I am learning a lot, which surprises me because I thought I knew everything. (I am kidding, really.)

Long month

I am sorry to everyone who keeps checking our website, waiting for an update.
We have had a busy January and I am glad it is over.
I started working towards my Master's degree, which means I am in school two nights a week, plus tons of reading and writing. I am very excited to get back into school, but there is quite an adjustment when I have been out of school for so long.
We were skiing every weekend until Kevin rolled down a double black diamond run
and hurt his shoulder. It isn't serious.
He didn't even know he hurt himself until that night when he couldn't fall asleep.

Becca got braces! I know it seems early. But I just took her in for a regular dentist and he suggested we visit an orthodontist (she only has 2 baby teeth left).
They said the earlier the better. She has had a pretty easy time. Not much pain.

We are going to Florida for 11 days so I have had to work ahead in my classes so I would have the stress of schoolwork while we are in Florida. I will update pictures sometime during our trip. We are leaving this Wednesday and going to Key West on Friday with Kim and Domineco. The following weekend we are going to visit Kevin in Gainesville and visit St. Augustine.

-6 degrees

I know it sounds cold and actually it was but it was such a beautiful day. Not a cloud in the sky and the sun was shining. What more could you ask for?
We stayed on the Blue Square runs today.
All the kids did great but they were asleep as soon as we got in the car.
My dad asked what a Blue Square, Greens, Black Diamond was so I thought I should explain.
Greens are the easiest for beginners.
Blue Squares are a bit more steep and longer.
Black Diamonds are for people that really know what they are doing.

What a view!
